Business / Browser Experiment
Where Did My Money Go?
I made money. Where did it go?
See money in, money out, what’s actually left, and where the rest went.
Your financial files stay on your device. Everything is analyzed in your browser and nothing is uploaded or saved. Closing this page clears it.
Quick start: Try the demo to see how it works, or add your bank and card CSV files. You’ll check the columns, then see money in, money out, and where it went.
01 / Bring your numbers
See it with demo data first.
Six months of a fictional design studio’s checking and credit card, ready to explore.
Or use your own CSV files.
Checking, credit card, another account: add as many as you like and they’re combined. Download them as CSV from your bank’s website.
Up to 10 MB and 50,000 rows in total. Excel files need to be saved as CSV first.
Estimates based only on the transactions you provide. This isn’t accounting, tax, or financial advice.
Details
This is the browser experiment. You can use it here without installing anything.
Browsers limit what a website can access on your computer, so some features may be unavailable here. A desktop version can usually work more directly with your files, folders, devices, or operating system.
How this browser version works
- Reads CSV exports only. There are no bank, Stripe, Square, PayPal, or payroll connections, and Excel files need to be saved as CSV first.
- Everything stays in this page’s memory. Nothing is uploaded or saved, so refreshing or closing the page clears it.
- Up to 10 MB and 50,000 rows at a time. Regular-charge detection works best with about three months of history.
- Estimates based only on the transactions you provide. Not accounting, tax, or financial advice.
What a desktop version could offer
- Keep your history between visits, stored privately on your own computer.
- Month-over-month comparisons, alerts, and more planning tools.
- Saved category rules that apply to every future import.
