Organize My Files

Everything in its place.
Sort a messy folder into tidy categories and download an organized copy.

Your files stay on your device. Organizing happens in your browser, and your originals are never moved or changed.

Quick start: Choose a messy folder or some files, check where each item will go, then create your organized ZIP. Your original files aren’t moved or changed.

01 / Choose what to organize

Drop a messy folder here.

Or choose a folder or some files. Loose files are sorted by type; folders you already made stay whole.

Up to 2,000 files and 500 MB at a time.

02 / Preview the organization

Your organized folders will appear here

No files yet. Choose a folder or files above, and each item’s new folder will appear here.

03 / Light rename (optional)

Tidy loose file names

Extensions are always kept. Files inside kept folders keep their names. Need more control? Try Rename Pro.

04 / Create & download

Your organized ZIP

The ZIP holds organized copies of your files and a plan listing where each one went. Your originals are never moved or changed.

Details

This is the browser experiment. You can use it here without installing anything.

Browsers limit what a website can access on your computer, so some features may be unavailable here. A desktop version can usually work more directly with your files, folders, devices, or operating system.

How this browser version works

  • Creates organized copies in a ZIP. Your original files are never moved, renamed, or changed.
  • Up to 2,000 files and 500 MB at a time. You’ll need free space for the ZIP.
  • Folders you already made stay whole. Empty folders aren’t included, because browsers don’t expose them.
  • On iPhone and iPad, choose individual files; folder selection isn’t available there. Files stored only in the cloud may need downloading first.

What a desktop version could offer

  • Organize folders in place instead of downloading copies.
  • Undo for the last batch of changes.
  • Larger folders without browser memory limits.
